Ellzey is a Chicago native (Go Bears!) who now calls Texas home. He has worked as Systems Engineer for Lockheed Martin and served as a Police Officer in the City of Fort Worth, but what he enjoys most is studying God's word and teaching others how to study the Scriptures. Ellzey was licensed to preach at First Missionary Baptist Church located in Fort Worth, Texas on May 2, 2008 under the leadership of the late Pastor C.M. Singleton. He currently serves as an Associate Minister at Great Commission Baptist Church and as an Associate Professor at Dallas Bible Theological Institute.
He has served and worked in various outreach ministries and has been blown away by the life change that he's witnessed. He has earned a Master of Criminal Justice degree from Tarleton State University, a Master of Arts in Bible & Theology degree from Tyndale Theological Seminary located in Hurst, Texas, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Troy University Montgomery Campus located in Alabama. Ellzey is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Louisiana Baptist University & Seminary. Ellzey also has a beautiful daughter named Pynk J. Ellzey that has dedicated her time and knowledge to this amazing project.
